Join in with the life of prayer at Bay Church
The Hour of Prayer
We get together every Tuesday morning at 10:00-11:00am to pray for the life of the church and our local community. It’s a great space to get to know others and to pray alongside each other. To find out how you can get involved, drop us a message below.

Appointments
What is a Prayer Appointment?
A Prayer Appointment is quite simply an extended time of prayer ministry alongside some volunteers from our prayer crew. They’re usually one-off appointments and they last roughly an hour.
What happens during a Prayer Appointment?
The rough structure of a Prayer Appointment tends to flow three stages. First, the leader of the appointment will invite you to share what you’d like prayer for. Second, the volunteers will spend some time asking you a few questions about what you’ve shared to help them understand or clarify bits of what you have shared. Finally, the volunteers will suggest a way to pray for you and, if you’re happy with what they have suggested, they’ll spend some time praying for you and with you.
How do I book an appointment?
The first step is to get in touch using the contact form at the bottom of this page. Then we’ll get in touch with you by phone just to ask a few questions to help us understand how we can pray for you. After that, we’ll aim to book a Prayer Appointment as soon as possible.
Where do Prayer Appointments happen?
More often than not, we’ll host Prayer Appointments in our Creative Room in the Bay Church offices. It’s a really comfortable and welcoming space.
Our heart behind the Prayer Appointments is rooted in Hebrews 12:1-2a.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
Hebrews 12:1-2a (NIV)
We’d love to pray with you or for you…
If there is anything you would like prayer for please let us know in the form below and our prayer crew will pray for everything we receive.
Additionally, the Prayer Crew is always on hand at our Sunday services to pray with anyone who would like us to. We will be wearing prayer lanyards at the front of the church. If, however, you feel you would benefit from a more extended time of prayer, we’d love to meet with you in a prayer appointment.
Tell us your stories…
We would love to hear and to celebrate anything God may be doing in response to the prayers of his people so if you have a testimony regarding something we have been praying for, please let us know!
