Focus 2025

Focus 23- 26th July 2025, Newark Showground

Focus is a chance for members of HTB churches to gather and experience something extraordinary. Last summer, we set off as a family bright and early for Newark Showground feeling excited to be part of Focus 2025. It was brilliant to have this time set aside to invest in friendships old and new, to worship and pray alongside thousands of other Christians, and learn from the brilliant speakers during the main sessions, as well as within the wider programme.

I expected to have a good time but was surprised to find God do much more than this in my life! From the first night, I felt God speaking to me about my future and felt called away from my corporate career, and towards investing my time and energy more fully into what he was doing in Torbay. Within a week of coming home I'd resigned from my job, and started a new group called Soul & Sea where we meet each week in the early morning to listen to a morning devotional together followed by an optional sea swim. Now, months later I see how pivotal Focus was, and am so pleased I was there and listened to God. I now work for Bay Church as a part-time Finance Administrator, both feet firmly in the Bay, and have seen God do so many amazing things in Torbay.

If you have the opportunity to get away for BAYCATION, Focus, or anything similar. I'd strongly recommend you give it a try and go open to hearing from God. He can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine, and that was certainly my experience!
