August is going to look a bit different at Bay Church this year. The plans for carpeting the main church space have finally all been approved!
We are so excited that the space will firstly, no longer be a trip hazard, but will also be a welcoming, warm and comfortable place for families across all our events and Sunday gatherings!
This is a huge job and as I'm sure you can imagine, requires a lot of preparation and time to be done properly! As such, throughout the month of August there will be no Sunday services or mid week events happening in the main church building. This is an unavoidable decision and something we haven't entered into lightly! Our last "regular" Sunday services will be on July 26th and then we'll be back in the building on August 30th.

COMMUNION
EVERY SUNDAY IN AUGUST | DOORS AT 9AM
We’ll be holding a simple communion service with a couple of songs of worship and a short reflection in the church hall every Sunday through August at 9AM.
Accessible entry can be gained around the back of the hall, from Hill Park Terrace.

BAY CHURCH ALL AGE FUN
SUNDAY 2ND, 9TH & 16TH AUGUST | 3PM-5PM
We’ll be meeting at Cockington Chapel meeting point (look out for the flag)! From 3pm-4pm we’ll play some wide games and hang out in the grounds. bring a picnic blanket or a chair, any games you’d like to play and maybe a snack! There’s plenty to explore; the rose gardens, courtyards, lakes, cafes and the playground.
from 4pm-5pm we’ll have some optional Bay Kids activities so that as a family, you can spend some time in the this week’s Bible story with crafts, games and prayer. You can either join in with the activities there or take them home if you’d rather.
Until 5PM, toilets are available in the main house and the Seven Dials cafe is open.

CHAPEL WORSHIP
SUNDAY 9TH | 3PM-4PM
At Cockington Chapel there will be extended, acoustic worship with time to reflect, receive and respond. This will be a relaxed space in which you can pop in and out, or stay for the whole session.
Informal prayer ministry will be available throughout the worship with our trained Prayer Crew, continuing until 4.30PM.
SUNDAY 23RD | 7PM-8.30PM
At Cockington Chapel there will be extended, acoustic worship with time to reflect, receive and respond. This will be a relaxed space in which you can pop in and out, or stay for the whole session.
